Charter Schools Grants for Replication and Expansion of High-Quality Charter Schools

Since 2010, this program has awarded grants to non-profit charter management companies that have a track record of increasing academic achievement with economically disadvantaged students.

The table below provides the history of grant awards, and the outcomes the schools have achieved.

Bipartisan cooperation between the President and Congress on creating and funding this program has meant that 230,000 additional seats have been available for students in these proven, high-quality public charter schools each year. This is a spectacular achievement.
