HFA Senior Policy Advisor Ann O’Leary to Speak at Camp Philos at the DNC
O’Leary will join Education Reform Now’s annual gathering to discuss Hillary Clinton’s education priorities
Philadelphia, PA – On Monday, July 25th, Hillary For America’s Senior Policy Advisor Ann O’Leary will join Education Reform Now (ERN) for its third-annual Camp Philos during the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
Ann O’Leary is Hillary Clinton’s chief advisor on education policy and will speak to Clinton’s education priorities during the campaign and in her future administration. O’Leary will speak during the first session between 11AM – 3PM at the Kimmel Center.
Also added to the speaking lineup is Russlynn Ali, former Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education under President Obama and current CEO of XQ and Managing Director of Education at the Emerson Collective. Russlynn will speak during the evening reception from 10PM – 11PM at The University of the Arts and discuss the Administration’s prior efforts to ensure a high-quality education for children of all backgrounds and narrow the achievement gap, as well as the future of progressive efforts to expand educational opportunity.
