Shelbyville Times-Gazette: Teacher Licensing Reforms Pass, but Will be Delayed

The Tennessee Board of Education on Friday voted 6-3 to implement controversial teacher licensing reforms but to hold off on carrying out the changes until August 2015.

Prior to the board meeting, Bedford County Superintendent Don Embry said local educators are concerned about the proposed law.
