Jesse serves as Director of Foundation Relations at Education Reform Now (ERN). She grows a portfolio of institutional and family foundation funders who partner with ERN as we seek to transform the American public education system to better serve all students, especially low-income students and students of color.
Prior to her work at ERN, Jesse ran a fundraising consulting business providing services to nonprofits such as KIPP Baltimore, National Museum of Women in the Arts, and regional community foundations. She provided support with development planning and strategy, collateral development, and funder outreach and engagement - all with the goal of attracting significant and sustainable funding to grow impact. Prior to her time as a consultant, Jesse helped raise millions for a permanent civic endowment at the Baltimore Community Foundation, strengthening the Foundation’s relationships with donors, prospective donors, and the professional advisor community.
Jesse has a Master of Arts in Cinema Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Whitman College. She lives in Brooklyn with her partner and two children.
