As a Senior Policy Analyst, Rianna is responsible for researching and writing policy briefs related to K-12 reform on a range of topics including resource equity, standards and accountability, public school choice, and teacher preparation. Before joining the ERN team, Rianna worked for the Office of Equity and Inclusion for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School District – where she developed student programming and equity initiatives to help close one of the worst racial achievement gaps in the country. Rianna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Educational Equity from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
