Charter schools get short shrift with funding

In a letter to the editor at The Columbus Dispatch:

It’s hypocritical to call for accountability and transparency for charter schools while promoting half-truths and misleading the public (“Reforms of charter schools, funding sought,” Dispatch article, Aug. 28).

House Bill 2 now includes many changes in charter-school laws to address accountability, but it would not alter funding.
