Today’s Politico morning education edition reports that NEA President Dennis Van Roekel is encountering vocal opposition from his members as he tours the country in support of the Common Core State Standards.
According to Politico, “When people tell him they oppose the Common Core, Van Roekel said his response is always the same: ‘What do you want as an alternative?‘”
