On Monday, July 25th, Education Reform Now (ERN) will host its third-annual Camp Philos during the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
Camp Philos is a yearly gathering of influential stakeholders in the education reform movement to discuss policy, advocacy, and how we can better deliver on the promise of a high-quality public education for every child. This year’s event features an impressive line up of elected leaders and progressive advocates who are leading the way forward on improving the quality of public education in our country and building upon President Obama’s historic education legacy.
The conversation will focus on a range of key themes including the progress made by the reform movement under President Obama’s leadership and looking ahead to the future of education reform under our next administration. Participants will also focus on issues of intersectionality, exploring the factors inside and outside of the classroom that impact children and their educational success – and how we can work together within our communities to help address these interrelated issues.
