Our first three teacher compensation info graphics (see here and here) showed good things happen when teachers are treated right. Today’s infographic illustrates a Center for American Progress study of 10 school districts that were among the first in the nation to redesign their teacher compensation systems. But while all 10 set out to attract, retain, and leverage high-performing teachers, just two are providing incentives to teachers for working both in high-needs schools and in hard-to-staff positions.
