On April 16, opponents of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) held a Twitter rally to express their disapproval of the standards using the hashtag #StopCommonCore. In response, CCSS supporters from around the country fought back by using the hashtag #SupportTheCore.
Here are some stats on the impact of the campaign. It’s clear from these numbers that a lot of people #SupportTheCore including education groups, teachers, and parents.
