Making Sure the Charlotte Bounce Extends to Education

Blogs, Letters & Testimonials

September 12, 2012

Friends,

DFER had an outstanding week at the Democratic National Convention. It was inspiring to see so many progressive education reformers in one place!

In Charlotte, we premiered a this video, I’m a DFER, which features some of our legislative champions (from swing states and beyond).

You can find a full run-down of all our convention festivities on this page.

The two conventions underscored vast differences between Obama and Romney on education. In a post-convention poll, conducted September 7-9, registered voters said Obama would do a better job than Romney on education by almost a 2:1 margin (63% to 34%). It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand why, but we’ve been keeping score anyway. Click here to download DFER’s Post-Convention Snapshot.

We’ve got less than two months before election day. Please get involved today.

Fired up and ready to go,
Joe

PS…

Don’t let the excitement of the Democratic Convention fool you. The President has a tough battle ahead.
